Undergraduate Medical Education

JPS Health Network is a clinical training site for undergraduate medical students and physician assistants from both local and national institutions. JPS serves as a third year clinical clerkship site for medical students from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, the Baylor University Medical Center, the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the Texas Christian University Medical School. Fourth year elective clinical clerkships are offered to medical students from across the country. JPS is proud of its tradition to educate future leaders in health care.

Fourth year medical students may apply online using VSLO for elective clinical clerkships.

Fourth year Podiatry students may apply through the AACPM Clerkship application.

On September 19, 2023, Tarrant County Commissioners Court will adopt the Tarrant County Hospital District’s FY 24 proposed budget and tax rate. The Commissioners Court has proposed a tax rate of $0.1945 which is below the no-new-revenue rate and will collect less taxes than the previous tax year.
