We value the voice of all patients in their care plan and have made it a priority to practice patient-centered care.
JPS Health Network and United Way of Tarrant County are introducing TeamBirth, a patient-centered initiative that fosters communication and collaboration between our patients, their families, and their care team. This program is meant to improve the health of mothers by making sure the patients’ opinions are always part of the decision-making process.
Here’s how TeamBirth benefits your delivery plan:
- You’re in charge – Patients are involved in every decision, ensuring their preferences are prioritized during labor and delivery.
- Clear Communication – Team huddles and visual tools are used to keep everyone informed, ensuring transparency and clarity in medical decisions.
- Safer care – By promoting teamwork and open communication, TeamBirth helps improve health outcomes and reduce risks.
- Support and Inclusion – Patients and their families are treated as essential members of the care team, creating a strong sense of trust and partnerships.
- Text4baby—Pregnant moms can get three text messages a week, with information about labor, prenatal care, developmental milestones, and more. Available in English or Spanish.
- Safe to Sleep—Reduce the risk of Sleep-Related Infant Death.
