Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship

Program Overview

The Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship at JPS Health Network is a one-year interdisciplinary program that uniquely prepares graduates for practice in a variety of settings by providing flexibility in training with an individualized elective curriculum. Open to graduates of Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Child Neurology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Neurology, or Radiation Oncology; or, at least three clinical years in residency program in Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Psychiatry, Radiology, or Surgery residencies. The Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship prepares physicians to provide the holistic, multidisciplinary care that patients need and expect.

Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellows provide team-based interdisciplinary care in a variety of settings while working collaboratively with Family Medicine residents, Geriatric Fellows, Advanced Practice Providers, and medical students.
