Dr. Nana has worked with the JPS Orthopaedic Residency Program, as a staff physician since 1998. He is a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association; Musculoskeletal Infection Society; Texas Medical Association; Tarrant County Orthopaedic Society; Tarrant County Medical Society; Texas Indo-American Physician Society; AO North American; American Medical Association and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons

Dr. Barcak serves as the Education Director of the Orthopaedic Trauma rotation at JPS. He enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He is also a semi-professional cyclist and motivational speaker.

Dr. Kennedy is the Education Director for the Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery rotation at JPS. He was an Academic All-American collegiate track athlete for Texas Christian University. When not caring for his patients, he enjoys playing guitar in a Nickelback cover band and spending time with his wife and two children.

Dr. Richie-Gillespie has been part of the JPS residency since 1994 and is the Education Director for the Orthopaedic Oncology rotation at JPS. She was the first orthopaedic oncologist in Tarrant County since 1996. She is a proud mom of three with a daughter in the Computer Science/Biology PhD program at Stanford, a daughter with a Psychology degree from Texas Christian University, and a son in pilot training at Southern Illinois University School of Aviation.

Dr. Wimmer grew up in Synder, TX and attended Angelo State University. He had his private practice in PM&R in Fort Worth from 1992-2012. He is board-certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and by the American Board of Electro Diagnostic Medicine. He is an avid Texas Rangers fan.

Vincent Moretti, MD

  • Risk factor identification and predictors of clinical outcome after individual joint replacement surgery
  • Health-care disparities and interventional costs to improve the quality, efficiency, and economics of joint replacement surgery across the national healthcare system

Dr. Moretti was born and raised outside of Chicago, IL. He is a member of the AAOS and AAHKS. He previously worked for Drexel University at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, followed by the University of Pennsylvania and VA Medical Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Moretti moved to Texas in 2022 and is married with two children. Personal interests include history, travel, and all Chicago sports.

Dr. Crawford is the Education Director for the Foot and Ankle rotation at JPS. When not caring for his patients, Dr. Crawford enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar and tennis, wearing funky foot and ankle surgery shoes, and following all things sports-related. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He speaks fluent Spanish.

Dr. Pientka is the Education Director for the Orthopaedic Hand rotation and the Research Director for the JPS residency. He enjoys traveling, fishing, and is an avid ice hockey player. He is married to Dr. Amanda Pientka (Medical ICU) and has one daughter.

Dr. Pipkin is an avid Texas Longhorns fan and enjoys all things related to health, wellness, and exercise. He enjoys any vacation with his wife and two young daughters. He also enjoys playing golf when time allows.
