Alan Garrett, DPM
Podiatry

Alan Garrett, DPM joined the faculty at the John Peter Smith Hospital Orthopaedic and Podiatry Residency Program in 2005. Dr. Garrett specializes in medical and surgical treatment of the foot and ankle. Dr. Garrett was born in Dallas, Texas and graduated high school in Odessa, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University, receiving a B.S. degree in Biomedical Science. In 2002, Dr. Garrett graduated from the College of Podiatric Medical Science in Des Moines, Iowa and began internship/residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Garrett opened his private practices in Fort Worth and Arlington, Texas in 2005. He is an associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and member of the Texas and American Podiatric Medical Associations.

Brady Rhodes, DPM
Podiatry

Dr. Brady W. Rhodes was raised in Fort Worth, Texas, attended North Crowley High school graduating in 2002. He completed his undergraduate studies at University of Texas at Arlington in Biology with a minor in History in 2008. Dr. Rhodes completed medical school at Rosalind Franklin University, Scholl College of podiatric medicine in Chicago Illinois in 2014. He then completed a 3 year surgical residency at John Peter Smith Hospital, serving as Chief Resident in 2017. Immediately after graduating from residency, he joined the Acclaim/JPS Orthopaedic Department/Podiatry Section as an attending physician. Dr. Rhodes remains active in resident education. He is board qualified in Foot, Rearfoot reconstruction and Ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dong Nguyen, DPM
Podiatry

Dr. Dong V. Nguyen born in Vietnam and was raised in Hurst, Texas, attended L. D. Bell High school and graduated in 1988. He completed his undergraduate studies at University of Texas at Arlington in Biology in 1992. Dr. Nguyen completed medical school at College of podiatric medicine and surgery in Des Moines, Iowa in 1998. He then completed a one year of POR, one year of RPR, and 2 year surgical residency at John Peter Smith Hospital, serving as Chief Resident in 2004. Dr. Nguyen has been practicing podiatric medicine in Arlington for several years, and joined the Acclaim/JPS Orthopedic/Podiatry Department as an attending physician and residency program in 2016. He is certified in American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He also attained M. Ed. in Leadership and Policy Studies in education from University at Arlington, TX. Dr. Nguyen is married to Dr. Thuthuy T. Nguyen, an internist at NETIMA. They live in Arlington and have several children.

Lena Levine, DPM
Podiatry

Lena Levine, DPM, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Levine completed her podiatry residency at John Peter Smith Hospital. She earned her medical degree at School College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. She treats patients at Plaza Medical Center, JPS and the Bone and Joint Institute at Ben Hogan Center at Texas Health Harris. Each patient is treated on an individual basis with every effort made to achieve the best possible outcome. She treats the full spectrum of foot and ankle injuries in both children and adults, which allows patients to return to the normal lifestyle they have been missing due to injury. Dr. Levine, along with her friendly, talented staff, will strive to provide you with every aspect of care.
