Logan Nettles, Manager of Business Operations for Behavioral Health

Logan Nettles

Logan Nettles is a successful graduate of both the JPS Healthcare Administrative Internship and the JPS Healthcare Administrative Fellowship. Both programs provide hands-on learning experiences and the opportunity to develop a greater understanding of hospital operations at the network.

While finishing a Master’s degree in Health Services Administration at the University of Central Florida, she completed a summer internship in 2016, rotating in several JPS departments, including Information Technology, Facilities Engineering, Behavioral Health, and Patient Experience. After graduation, she applied for the year-long fellowship program because she wanted to get back to “great culture, the awesome people, and our patients.”

“I keep coming back to JPS for the type of work I’m able to do and the people I have the privilege help, whether that’s patients, team members, or patients’ loved ones,” Nettles said.

“JPS has given me chances in my career that, at one point, I thought I wouldn’t get. The leaders here saw my potential from the very beginning and gave me opportunities to shine and to grow. They allowed me to take on complex projects, shadow their teams, and tour their areas, while instilling wisdom at every step,”

JPS leadership recognized Nettles’ skills early on, and have been committed to her success and career, she says. She credits mentorship by multiple executives, department leaders, and JPS leader development programs with helping her be more confident in her abilities and improving her leadership skills.
