Care Delivery Lab

The CEHDR Care Delivery Lab conducts research to improve the quality of care. Our work focuses on the following areas:

• Evaluation of healthcare interventions: Healthcare interventions such as programs, policies, and digital health tools are frequently used to improve care delivery, but do they work? We evaluate the intended and unintended effects of healthcare interventions to guide improvement efforts.
• Implementation of evidence-based practices: The integration of evidence-based practices into routine care is remarkably slow. We assess strategies for accelerating the integration of evidence-based practices into routine care.
• Predictive analytics: Predictive models based on statistical or artificial intelligence methods are increasingly popular for personalizing care decisions and optimizing resource allocation, but few models are rigorously evaluated. We evaluate the performance of predictive models and develop new models when necessary.
