Northeast Medical Home Update

Northeast Medical Home under construction

Won’t be long before JPS patients in Northeast Tarrant County can pick up prescriptions without getting out of the car, an asset for people with mobility issues. JPS Medical Home Northeast Tarrant, the first JPS clinic with a drive-through pharmacy window, is on track to open in October.

“We’re right on schedule,” said Angie Morgan, director of construction at JPS Health Network, Tarrant County’s publicly supported healthcare provider. “It’s exciting to see it taking shape, knowing what an asset it’s going to be for our patients and the communities we serve in Northeast Tarrant County.”

JPS Medical Home Northeast Tarrant, a 32,000-square-foot full-service clinic, is under construction at 3200 W. Euless Blvd. It will replace JPS Northeast Health Center in Bedford, significantly expanding services and increasing efficiency. With radiology and laboratory services on site, patients who need ultrasound or lab tests will be able to get them there, rather than traveling to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. Providing multiple services under one roof increases the likelihood that those tests will get done when they should, creating opportunities for timely preventative care.

JPS Medical Home Northeast Tarrant will include primary care, women’s health, behavioral health, dental, optometry, laboratory, radiology and pharmacy service.
