December 19, 2024; Fort Worth, Texas—JPS Health Network proudly hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony December 18 to celebrate the future opening of Medical Home Southwest Tarrant, a state-of-the-art healthcare facility designed to serve the residents of southwest Tarrant County and expand the health network’s footprint in the community.
The completion of the new medical home represents a key achievement in JPS Health Network’s long-term Master Facility Plan, which aims to enhance access to quality care across the region. The ceremony included a special dedication to Commissioner Roy Charles Brooks and brought together community members, healthcare professionals, and local leaders. Guests toured the modern facility and learned about its comprehensive services designed to meet the unique needs of the 76123 community and beyond.
“Medical Home Southwest Tarrant was established to improve access to care for our growing community in southwest Tarrant County,” said Dr. Karen Duncan, JPS President and CEO. “By integrating primary care, behavioral health, and other essential services under one roof, we are breaking down barriers to care and empowering our patients to lead healthier lives.”
The new Medical Home Southwest Tarrant is set to open after the New Year, offering a centralized hub for comprehensive, patient-centered care. Designed to enhance convenience, accessibility, and health outcomes, the facility will integrate a wide range of essential health services in one location. These services include primary care, behavioral health, x-ray, ultrasound, laboratory diagnostics, and a community education space for health and wellness programs. Additionally, the facility will feature on-site specialists including cardiology, gastroenterology and optometry, a full-service drive-through pharmacy, and dedicated space for specialty pharmacy services.

The Tarrant County Hospital District, known as JPS Health Network, is a tax-supported organization serving the healthcare needs of families across Tarrant County.
