JPS Health Network ranks in the top 20 companies in the world at training and growing team members, according to the largest professional membership organization on the planet.

The Association of Talent Development ranked JPS number 17 when it announced its 2018 BEST Award winners last week in Washington, D.C.

“We get such great support from our executive leadership which is passionate about JPS being a true learning organization,” said Director of Learning and Organizational Development, Jodi Bell. “Our executive team is such a driving force behind this.”

ATD is the world’s largest professional membership organization supporting those who develop the knowledge and skills of employees. Its members come from more than 120 countries and work in all industry sectors. The 2018 BEST Awards recipients include small and large private, public and nonprofit organizations from the United States and 10 other countries, including Australia, Canada, China, India, Korea, Russia and Taiwan.

Bell said 2018 was the first time that JPS applied for the BEST Awards. The bar has been set high, but she said she is hopeful the organization will do even better in the future.

“Since it was our first year, we were very pleased just to make the list at all,” Bell said. “To find out we were 17th was a very pleasant surprise. We will definitely be applying again next year, highlighting all of the great work and training that is going on to make our team members the best they can be.”
