Academic Affairs
JPS has a long history of training physicians and learners from other health-related disciplines. The institution sponsors programs that are accredited through the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME), and also serves as a participating institution for several additional residency programs.
Nurse Residency Program
The Nurse Residency Program at JPS Health Network is a 12-month program designed to support graduate nurses who are transitioning into their first professional role. The program is comprised of a series of learning and work experiences that develop the clinical and leadership skills necessary to become part of a successful healthcare team.
Healthcare Administrative Fellowship
- Develop broader, deeper knowledge and understanding of large, integrated health systems with a year-long learning experience
- Learn and grow as a healthcare professional under the leadership and guidance of our executive team
- Spend quality time in division rotations, working on projects with impact network-wide
- Translate classroom knowledge and theory into professional practice, participating in decision-making at a management level
Healthcare Administrative Internship
The Healthcare Administrative Internship is a 10-week program where interns will take an in-depth look at the healthcare industry, observe the challenges that public hospitals face, and develop a better understanding of hospital operations at all levels.
