JPS sponsors three fellowship training programs:
John Peter Smith Hospital is the largest training institution in Fort Worth and is home to ten residency programs. In addition, we offer three fellowship programs: Behavioral Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Sports Medicine. Training is important to the mission of JPS to transform healthcare delivery for the communities we serve and its efforts to meet the health care needs of Tarrant County.
JPS residents receive training in a wide variety of skills, receive lectures from nationally recognized leaders, and actively participate in research and scholarly activity.
Tarrant County Hospital District is proud of its tradition of training highly qualified healthcare leaders.
The Geriatrics and Sports Medicine Fellowships participate in the ERAS application system. Any paper applications submitted to these programs will not be considered. In order to obtain additional information on ERAS, go to www.aamc.org. ERAS lists programs as they appear in the ACGME directory.
