Zelia Baugh, Executive Vice President, Behavioral Health
Zelia Baugh, executive vice president for Behavioral Health, joined JPS in May 2018. She is responsible for the strategic growth and direction of the behavioral health service line. This includes growth, program development, physician relations and recruitment, community development, programming and planning for multiple stakeholders to deliver optimal care to citizens of Tarrant County.
Baugh has served as the vice president of Mental Health Services at Brookwood Medical Center & Baptist Health System, overseeing the united system’s five hospitals in Alabama. Prior to that, she was the governor-appointed Commissioner of Mental Health for the state of Alabama.
Baugh is a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College and the University of Alabama, where she earned her master’s in social work.
