The Fort Worth Business Press recognized Partners Together For Health's executive director Kimberly Britton as a Woman of Influence at its "Great Women of Texas" event. Partners is the foundation for JPS Health Network. The publication's sixth annual award honors women who have made significant contributions to business, civic and social organizations in the Fort Worth/Tarrant County area. Each woman honored is a trailblazer in their business interests, but it is their dedication to family and the community that makes them stand out.

Twenty-two local women were selected for recognition from more than 114 nominations. "Because of her leadership, our foundation has raised more than $30 million dollars since its inception," said Adonna Lowe, RN, JPS Vice President of Patient Services and Chief Nursing Officer. "In addition, she has personally conducted more than 100 tours of JPS facilities so that key leaders in the community could see the true benefit JPS brings to the Tarrant County community."

Britton was instrumental in the founding of the JPS foundation in 1996. Prior to that time she had served JPS as director of development and volunteers and as coordinator of community relations, having joined JPS in 1998.

A graduate of Texas Christian University, she is a Certified Fund Raising Executive. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Fort Worth, Association of Fund Raising Professionals, the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce and the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy.

Her community activities include major logistic responsibilities at the three most recent Van Cliburn International Piano Competitions, serving on multiple committees of the Junior League of Fort Worth and active participation in the Woman's Club of Fort Worth and the Junior Woman's Club.

She was named to Outstanding Young Women in America in 1985 and was recognized as one of five Outstanding Young Texans in 1999. Other awards include Outstanding Young Leader of Tarrant County in 1998-99 and Paul A Sims Community Service Award in 1994. She is a 1993 graduate of Leadership Fort Worth.
