Our team of dedicated health care professionals, known as the Hope Team, care for patients at the JPS Center for Cancer Care in their clinical practice and infusion center.

Scope of Services
The JPS Center for Cancer Care offers state-of-the-art evidence-based, multi-disciplinary care to patients with cancer and blood disorders. JPS offers laboratory, pharmacy and social services in addition to radiology, chemotherapy and general clinical treatment. Patients may utilize the center as a gateway to the exceptional care given at John Peter Smith Hospital, our Level II Trauma Center, our women's health center and many more services.
Hope Team Leaders
Latha S. Neerukonda, MD Dr. Neerukonda is board certified in medical oncology and internal medicine and completed her fellowship program in Medical Oncology at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas. Dr. Neerukonda obtained her bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery degrees from Guntur Medical College, India. Prior to joining JPS, she was in private practice. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American Society of Internal Medicine, American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Texas Medical Association.
Eric Troxell, PharmD Clinical Oncology Pharmacy Specialist A native of Washington, D.C., Troxell obtained a bachelor of science in biology from Brigham Young University and his pharmacy doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin. He was recognized as the UT College of Pharmacy's valedictorian and won the Eli Lilly Outstanding Scholar Award. He has been a member of numerous pharmaceutical speakers bureaus. Troxell is also a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the Texas Pain Initiative and the American Cancer Society's Prostate Cancer Advisory Board.
Mark Arneson, MBA, PA Oncology/Hematology A native of Red Cloud, Neb., Arneson is the JPS Center for Cancer Care's physician assistant. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and followed that with an MBA at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Arneson is currently pursuing a doctorate in health care management.
Arneson is a standing member of the American Clinical Research Professionals, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Autologus Bone Marrow and Blood, Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. He is an active volunteer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Arlington and is a member of the North Central Texas Cancer Society. |
