Currently there are limited formalized retraining sites for physicians who would benefit from the enhancement of their skills due to deficiencies caused by a number of factors. These deficiencies occur when the clinician is separated from colleagues due to:

• geographic isolation
• departure from practice for travel
• family leave
• illness
