Verispan Votes JPS as One of the Best 100 Health Networks


FORT WORTH, TX -  The JPS Health Network ranks in the Top 100 according to the Verispan list of the 100 best performing  integrated healthcare networks. JPS ranked 69th on the list which was published in the February 6, 2006 issue of Modern Healthcare. For the South region of the of the Verispan report, JPS ranks 20th.

According to the Modern Healthcare article, "Verispan evaluates IHNs based on their performance and degree of integration.  They are ranked by how well they operate as unified organizations in eight categories and 33 subcategories, including overall integration, integrated technology, contractual capabilities, outpatient utilization, financial stability, services and access, hospital utilization and the number of physicians and the variety of specialty services offered." 
JPS President and CEO David M. Cecero attributes the award to the leadership of the Board of Managers and the dedication of employees.  "Our Board has maintained a clear vision for the future of JPS, and our employees work hard every day to make that vision a reality," he said.
