Residency Programs: Podiatry

The John Peter Smith Hospital Podiatric residency program has two approved residencies which accept one resident per year. The first year of training is a 12 month Rotating Podiatric Residency (RPR). The second and third years of training are a 24 month podiatric surgical residency (PSR-24) program.
The RPR program includes rotations in Pathology, Surgery, Radiology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Rheumatology, Dematology, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Anesthesia and Podiatry.
EXTERNSHIPS
Externships are available to students from all the colleges of podiatric medicine.
3 externs accepted each month.
Students participate in clinic/surgery/lectures.
MISSION
Utilize a multi-disciplinary approach.
Advance the level of Podiatric surgery via the highest quality of Residency Training.
