Don’t ignore heart symptoms

A coroner’s preliminary report said that popular radio personality David “Kidd” Kraddick died of heart disease, even though he appeared healthy to friends and co-workers. Cardiologist Paul Bhella, MD, director of cardiac imaging at JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, urges all North Texans to heed the early symptoms of heart problems. Bhella talked to reporter Omar Villafranca on NBC 5 News at 10 on Monday night, after Jefferson Parish, La., deputy coroner Dr. Granville Morse reported that Kraddick, 53, had an enlarged heart and three cardiac blood vessels 40-80 percent blocked.
