Partners Together for Health
Partners Together For Health, the foundation for JPS Health Network, helps save lives too – just in a more subtle manner. Partners gains resources from donors of all kinds, and those gifts, for instance, helped built our new patient tower. Partners is responsible for all solicitations from the community, other foundations and grantor agencies. This assistance can be money, manpower or equipment – all to help JPS staff make patients healthier.
The 501(c)(3) foundation was created in 1997 to benefit JPS, the county hospital district that is the medical home for Tarrant County residents, particularly those who can not afford medical care elsewhere. JPS, existing more than 100 years, now includes the main hospital in Fort Worth, psychiatric facilities, nearly 50 community health centers, school-based clinics and dental facilities across Tarrant County. JPS hospital provides a full spectrum of medical care including a Level I trauma center, equipped to handle worst-case illnesses and injuries. In addition, JPS provides the teaching environment for multiple medical training residencies such as podiatry, family practice, obstetrics and gynecology, etc., thus supplying Tarrant County, Texas and the nation physicians for the future.
