Project LINC
Project LINC is a career development program that offers educational opportunities to JPS Health Network employees interested in pursuing careers in nursing or other health-related job fields. Project LINC offers academic support and guidance as well as the financial assistance necessary to enable our employees to realize their educational and career goals.
Must be a current full-time JPS employee with a minimum of one year of service
- Must have applied for financial aid from at least one other source
- Must be accepted into a school of choice and be able to furnish letter of acceptance
- Complete Project LINC application, pre-entrance exam and interview if indicated
- Have demonstrated work performance at or above standards for all criteria
- Have no recorded instance of reprimand or suspension within the last 12 months
- Agree to work for JPS for a specified period of time upon graduation as per a signed contract
How does Project LINC benefit students?
- Assist students with tuition, books & most fees while in school
- Allow students to attend school full-time while working
- Work a minimum of 20 hrs and a maximum of 24 hrs and get paid for up to 32 hrs
- Maintain full-time benefits/eligibility including health care options, medical/dental, long term disability, and continued paid time off accrual (for actual hrs worked)
Project LINC students will have access to:

- Educational assistance such as study and test-taking skills

- LVN to RN
- ADN to BSN
- Other programs may be eligible
