500 Books donated from Primrose School of Bedford
The JPS Family Health Center’s early childhood literacy efforts were bolstered by a donation of more than 535 books from the Primrose School of Bedford.
The books will become part of the Reach Out and Read program, a national campaign partnering with medical professionals to “prescribe” books for kids when they come for well child appointments. JPS is one of nearly 5,000 Reach Out and Read sites across the country. The Primrose donation will also be used to stock the Kids Reading Corner in the lobby of the JPS Family Health Center.
JPS Foundation extends thanks to the students and teachers at Primrose School of Bedford for their generous donations. If you’re interested in donating, a back-to-school book drive is planned for August. More details to come.
